This kit includes 3 transfer pipets and pH paper.

Acid/Base Test
1. Choose some household liquids* and retrieve some cups or foam plates.
2. Use the pipets to add a small amount of (.25 mL) of household liquid to each of the cups or plates.  Make sure to identify each substance.  Note: you may want to "rinse" the pipet with water between samples.
3. Guess if they are an acid, base, or neutral based on what you know about each substance.
4. Place a new strip of pH paper in each liquid sample and note the color changes if any.
BLUE = Base
RED = Acid
YELLOW = Neutral

*- Always have an adult approve the use of specific household liquids and do not mix the liquid samples.
