Please note: RI state parks have many hunting seasons and all of these seasons require park entrants to wear florescent orange or yellow for safety. For a comprehensive list of regulations click here. From the last year's (2019) Patch:
"With hunting season starting Sept. 15, residents are reminded to wear orange in undeveloped state parks and management areas to stay safe. The requirement will be in place until the season ends in late February. Each person must wear at least 200 square inches of fluorescent orange. Either a hat or vest will meet the requirement, which applies to all all users of state management areas and undeveloped state parks, not just hunters."
