The Science of Solids, Liquids & Gasses
K-3rd graders (we can adapt the level of science appropriately for each age group) explore the Science of Matter (Chemistry) with (as always) eye-popping hands ON experiments!
Learn how atoms interact, explore the concept of volume and focus on the three basic states of matter on Earth; solids, liquids and gasses (we'll leave plasma alone for now). Each & every student makes & keeps their very own Amorphous Solid (aka SLIME) which has characteristics of both a liquid & a solid!
Mildly-Messy-Program Alert! Kids will want to wash their hands after this one, and spills can happen, but hey, that's part of science. We always clean up our own mess, but we recommend planning on getting the kids to a sink for washing up at program's end.
